MakeLab is the bridge for students interested in prototyping and making. We create the environment for students to come together to learn, create and collaborate to share idea, exploration and innovation. Our purpose is to help you to become innovative by enabling you to use the tools and work in a shared environment and in teams. We believe that making in a collaborative environment will promote the culture of innovation. The principles of MakerLab are

  • To establish a pool of  Knowledge and skills
  • To learn to build upon each other’s work
  • To make,  not just talk about it we prototype concepts
  • To engage,  how do we engage participants in since the process is what matters.

From time to time, we held talks, workshops, tutorials, releasing technical articles and interesting project topics for you to participate as a maker. You can find us at  Room 312, Haking Wong Building, The University of Hong Kong. You are welcome to tell us your idea about anything you want to "make".
