Making Webbox

Webbox

The Webbox is embedded database and php web server. This article describes how to make one and use it with Joomla! CMS. We will apply it in Internet B2C  business to establish a home Internet store with the Joomla e-commerce component called Virtuemart. Requirements of making a webbox includes hardware and software parts as listed at followings.

Hardware:

  • Raspberry Pi B+ or Raspberry Pi 2
  • a uSD card (any size bigger than 100MB)
  • a USB flash drive
  • a USB Ethernet dongle
